Please complete the form and mail/fox it back in as quickly as possible. This form is due into the office by December 14th. If you have not completed the form by the due date or have not received the from please contract your Trip Leader. Lift Tickets are handed out during the Welcome Reception after we arrive. Rooming AssignmentsWe have done our best to assign rooms based on the information you provided during your sign up form. The rooming assignment list will be provided during the pre-trip party. While we do our best to not widely distribute the list for the list IS NOT considered private information and WILL BE distributed to the group and posted on this site. In the internet age its very simple for this list to make it to a larger group outside the trip by a single member. If you are concerned about your name being listed on the rooming list distributed please contact your Trip Leader and discuss the matter. Your rooming assignments are in the the Pre-Trip packet. If you don't make the Pre-Trip meeting then they will be emailed to you. Group Airline TravelAll airlines and travel agents have moved to an E-Ticket system. This basically is a alpha-numeric ID that along with your name identifies your ticket for online, kiosk, or agent checkin. Our airline tickets will be coming from a group batch of tickets that occasionally don't allow online checkin depending on airline and group ticket type. Your E-Ticket numbers are in the Pre-Trip packet. If you don't make it to the Pre-Trip meeting then they will be emailed to you. I have verified that the tickets do exist in Delta's system and I was able to attach my Delta skymiles number to my ticket online. I have been told by the airline you "should" be able to check in online once we get to 24 hours before the flight BUT from previous experience that may or may not actually work. If you can't check in online then just plan time to checkin at the airport. You have to search by eTicket number by going here ( https://www.delta.com/myitinerary/itinLanding.action ), clicking on "eTicket Number" and by entering your First/Last name (as indicated on your ticket) and your eTicket number starting with 006 on the "Ticket:" section on the bottom right of the first page of your eTicket paperwork. It is YOUR responsibility to be on time to the airport, make the flight, and make your movements from flight to flight if there is a layover. If you are unsure about the airport layout or would like some assistance either find a buddy in the group that knows the airport or routiene to stick with or feel free to use your Trip Leader as a guide, especially during airport transfers. If you are traveling internationally make sure you have your passport with you at all times (not in any luggage, including your carry on). You will find your Trip Leader at the departure gate of the Atlanta airport 1 hour before the flight leaves. Please come by and check in with him so he at least knows you made your first flight. If you have any problems feel free to contact your Trip Leader any time by phone to his cell. Group Shuttle TransfersIt is YOUR responsibility to make it to the group shuttle transfers. If you are unsure about making it to baggage claim or making it to the shuttle find a buddy in the group that knows the airport or routine to stick with or feel free to use your Trip Leader as a guide. Our meeting spot is near the baggage carousel where we pick up our bags at the Denver airport. Look for your Trip Leader and group around him. Once everyone is together he will let you know where the shuttle is. We will be making a 1hr stop at "AppleJacks" on the way up to the mountains. You will be able to grab a bite, groceries, and alcohol during this stop. We will do our best to make sure everyone is with us and wait as long as possible before the shuttle leaves the destination but if you are held up by being a ground only passenger or on a customs hold the group may have to go on without you. If that happens then the shuttle options listed above "Shuttle Information" will be your best bet. Group Weekly ActivitiesBased on the feedback I got on the survey everyone seemed interested in having a multi-room progressive dinner and doing a ski at another resort day. Vail Ski DayWe will be taking the Fresh Tracks Transport shuttle from Breckenridge to Vail on Wednesday the 3rd. The cost will be $35/pp and we will depart at 8AM and arrive back at 5:30PM. You can call 970-453-4052 to make a reservation. Progressive DinnerBarbara will be the master coordinator for the progressive dinner and she has provided the details below. Don't worry too much if you have questions about it. We have plenty of time on the bus ride up and two night before the event to figure it out. ------------------ The progressive dinner will be on Monday night per Matt’s instructions. I told Matt I would organize it for him and rather than assign condos, I would like to give you the opportunity to volunteer or not. TWO condos will be assigned to 1 of 4 courses. Those two condos will prepare and pay for the course as well as appropriate alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and ONE of the two condos will actually host that course. Those two condos will be responsible for set-up, purchasing, preparing and cleaning even though it is being held in only one of the two condos. There are 29 people so also plan for paper and plastic ware including beverage glasses. We want to be able to clean up with as little work as possible…yes we want to have fun. Course 1: Appetizers and drinks (can be chips and dips, finger foods, beer, wine, mixed drinks) Course 2: Salad (2 kinds, i.e. Caesar, garden, oriental, etc.) and bread and drinks Course 3: Entrée and 2 side dishes as well as wine. The ski club will be paying for the main course which will be two varieties of pasta and two varieties of sauces. I will be making one with a red sauce. Can I get a volunteer to make something with an alfredo type base (paid for by ski club). I will host this in my condo Unit 8 (sorry guys and girls sharing my condo…yes we will have more work to do). Mark do you want to be in charge of choosing the wine for this course? Course 4: Dessert (at least 2 choices) and after dinner drinks. I previously had a request from Winnie, Jimmie and Marianne in Unit 7…are you guys still good with this? So basically I need a volunteer for hosting appetizers and salad, and then I will assign the other condos to go with each of those 4 condos if you don’t volunteer for one. I would also like a point person in each of the other 3 courses who will serve as the organizational person for your two condos. I will be in charge of the entrée and overall coordinator. Please reply back to ALL so that everyone is on the same page. Then on the bus, each coordinator can organize their course, and make shopping at Applejacks easy. Any questions or comments, feel free to contact me. Also remember that organization within your condo must be thought out…29 people in each condo will get crowded. If anyone does not want to be involved in this…just let me know and we will adjust our numbers accordingly. Altitude SicknessMany of you are going to be making a large altitude adjustment over the course of the trip. This altitude difference puts a strain on your body and on average about 20% of the group if not more will feel one or more symptoms of altitude sickness. Some of the symptoms are: Dizziness, Light Headed, Nausia, Weakness, Headache, and Stomach Ache So the question is what do you do about it?
